Start with a place

Enter a full postcode, check the connected council and choose a search radius. The map is a schematic: use the council record for the exact site, application documents and full proposal.

Read the source before making a decision

Open the application’s council link and check its reference, description, status and any consultation details. Curtain Twitch makes records easier to explore; the council’s published information remains the place to verify details and submit comments.

Follow changes with context

An on-device watch records a starting point, then compares later successful checks. A newly seen record is not necessarily a newly submitted application. Source failures retain the previous history; a missing record is not treated as a withdrawal.

Email alerts are coming soon. For now, use My Watches in your browser and return to check for changes.

Know the limits

Searches use mapped records, a selected radius and one connected council. Neighbouring authorities and unmapped applications can be missed. Always check the original register for an application you are relying on.
